Are your products royalty free?

Yes they are. All products from DopeVST are sold as ‘royalty free,’ which means that they are licensed, not sold to you, by DopeVST. DopeVST is either the owner or entitled licensee of the products on sale. By making payment for a product you are granted the right to incorporate them in a music production, film, TV program, website or other media production, without paying any additional royalties, license fees, or any other fees to DopeVST or any third parties.

Copying, re-selling, leasing, duplicating or distribution in any form of the products for sale, other than outlined in the ‘License Agreement’, is strictly prohibited. This extends, but is not limited, to file sharing websites, web forums, computer networks and file hosting websites. Products cannot be distributed in their original format or sold in a manner that would be considered competitive with the nature of DopeVST’s business. Everything else on the website is licensed to DopeVST, including artwork, source code, materials, audio demos, graphics, text and logos and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.


Once I place a purchase, what happens next?

You will receive an email with a download link and serial number provide you the serial number immediately. This link will be active for 24hrs. Please let us know if you require the link to be reactivated at a later date.


How long should I expect the download to take?

Depending on the size of the package and your connection type it the time may vary. It can be a few seconds for files that are less than 10MB in size up to a few hours for large files over slower connections lines. The time required to download the file should always be displayed in your browser’s download window.


Can I use a download accelerator?

No, do not use any download accelerators as they may cause problems. Our servers are prepared to handle the downloads from our customers and the software in most cases is not big. And even if there’s a big package just try to download it in one attempt. Download accelerators will not work with DopeVST.com.


I can’t download. Can you send me a physical product?

DopeVST.com is a shop that delivers digital products only. We do not keep stock of boxed products.


What is your delivery policy?

  1. The delivery of a purchased product may consist of giving access to the Software Installer file and a serial number
  2. All software available on the DopeVST shop is delivered by electronic means only in the form of a download.
  3. The download links will be sent to your email address once payment is collected.
  4. The customer is responsible for maintaining a network connection which will ensure the full download of the installer file(s).

I can’t get my software to work, can I have a refund?

Unfortunately we cannot provide you with a refund (read our full refund policy HERE If you are experiencing any problems with your software, we strongly suggest you contact us at support@dopevst.com and we will do all we can to get you up and running.


I have purchased products for my PC and now I moved to Mac (or vice versa). Can you transfer over the software?

Yes you can. If you happen to change the operating system in your studio environment — please contact us and we will assist you in transferring your software over.

Always provide us with the following information:

Your email address
Your serial number
Program name and version
Operating system you originally purchased the software for and the OS you want to switch to.


What are your hours of support?

We are here to assist you 9am-9pm GMT (that’s London time) Monday to Friday. Our response during this time is usually 1hr. We also do customer support outside these hours and on weekends but our response time will be slightly longer.


How do you handle currency conversion?

We use Paypal and the up-to-date exchange rates they provide. Please note that the amount you pay may actually vary due to your bank’s own currency exchange rates.


Do you offer Educational Discounts?

Yes we do, What we need for you to do is email support@dopevst.com with the following information:

Name.
Email Address.
Proof of enrolment – screenshot/photo of a student / faculty / staff ID card, or a scanned letter from your school on official letterhead.
Please clearly state which software you are interested in purchasing.
All information provided by you is kept confidential by us at all stages of the process. We ensure that your security is not compromised.

Terms & Conditions
Education pricing is available only to staff and currently enrolled students of audio or music technology courses.
Dated proof of current education status is required. ID’s without dates will not be accepted.
Education purchases are limited to one of each plug-in/bundle per person, and are only delivered electronically. If you would like to purchase multiple pieces of software available above, then please state clearly in your initial email to support@dopevst.com. You will receive a coupon code for each purchase.
Educational licenses are non-transferable.
DopeVST reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice at our discretion.
Your application for education pricing will be accepted or declined at the sole discretion of DopeVST.
The discount code for your selected product can only be used once. Sharing of the code will result in the inability to purchase at your discount. Shared codes will also result in the suspension of your account.
Please allow 48hours for our admin team to validate your educational documents.
Educational Discounts cannot be applied to products which are on sale.
Note: delivery is electronic only, boxes will not be shipped.


Will I be notified by you of all upgrades? If so, how?

Our system automatically sends out a notification to all those users who have purchased software that is hosted on our servers. Each software update (free) or upgrade (commercial) triggers an email to our customers who have purchased it in the past. Additionally we suggest that you sign up for our Newsletter which will cover all software updates and keep you up to date on our promotions.
